My friend came over the other day with this cutie! She said he is a minature bulldog but I think he is going to grow up to be a big boy! Regardless, he was sooo adorable!
I have just finished 2 paintings! One of them, "Freedom" was for a lady that commissioned me to do a painting for her boyfriend's birthday gift. This painting was fun to work on - I got to paint a VW van and a Grateful Dead symbol! You can see this painting at http://www.smiledoggie.com/freedom.htm
The other painting "Riggins" was for a lady who was very helpful giving me ideas on backgrounds. We played around with a few ideas and finally came up with an idea that showed Riggins' playful and nature loving side. You can see this painting at http://www.smiledoggie.com/riggins.htm
I lightened the nails and trimmed them. If only trimming my own dogs' nails was so easy! The dark nails took the focus away from Buckeye's great brindle coat. My client was happy with the revision so I will sending her the painting this week!
This is a painting I did for a lady who purchased my gift certificate at an auction for Central Ohio Greyhound Rescue. Not only did we help raise money but I was able to have fun recreating a brindle coat with pinks, blues and browns.
