Here are the 3 portraits together. I brightened up the portrait of Gus to go with the other 2. Let's hope my client likes it!

Sam - New background

I added a little blue sky to this portrait. My client wanted to hang 3 of my paintings in the same room so we came up with an idea to make the 3 portraits look more cohesive. I'm excited to see 3 of my paintings hanging on someone's wall!

Sir Jiminy Cricket - Final

Sir Jiminy Cricket is done! I had alot of fun working on this painting. He had some health issues while I was painting this so it makes it even more special. I hope his owner likes it!

Louie - coming along

Here is Lou. I worked on his coat, eyes and mouth more. Don't know if I want to have him sitting over the back of a couch or change it to make in the "sitting" position.

Purin doll

This has nothing to do with painting but I thought I would post it. I made an amigurumi (japanese for "knitted doll") of my corgi Purin. Let me know if you want one made of your dog!

Here I added Emma's mouth. The painting is being varnished now and will be ready to ship out tomorrow.

Progress is slowly getting made on Cricket's portrait. I am adding so many elements to this painting. The Coke crate in the back will be filled with more toys and there will be 1 toy on the bed.

Emma Lou's tag

Emma is a very girlie dog so I wanted to give her a dog tag that fitted her!

I'm almost done with Emma Lou's portrait. I "greyed" up the dog's face and lengthened the nose. I like the way its coming out so far...

Stella - Final

Stelle is done! I had a lot of fun working on this portrait. Stella's collar runs off the canvas but I still have the details on the sides of the portrait. It ended up being like a little hidden treasure for Stella's owner.

This is Emma Lou the Italian Greyhound. Her coat is a blue grey and I really wanted to play on the "blue" of her coat. But I think I went a bit too far, so I am going to add a bit more grey...Come back to see what I do!

Magic - 2nd try

Magic's head needed to be a bit wider. Rather than reworking my paiting, I decided to redo it completely. It ended up being a good idea, a fresh start. So now Magic's owner is 100% happy with the portrait.

Here is what I have done so far on Troop. When I saw pictures of his rich brown coat, it looks almost purple...it's like how deep black looks blue to me. That might sound crazy to people! ahahah I have a bit more work to do on Boulder.

Here is the final of Angel and Magic. Waiting to see what my client says. Hope she likes it! I was told that Magic's portrait looks like Van Gogh's self portrait! That's a pretty cool compliment!

Fenway is a cockapoo. He is Wrigley's buddy (such cute names!) I finished this painting during the holidays. At first I painted him with closed eyes but I redid the portrait so he would have big open eyes!
