Here is the final portrait of Marty! The owner received it today and he loved it! Yay! I love hearing when people like their portraits.

Marty - Draft 1

It has been awhile since I have posted hasn't it?! But I have recently been very fortunate to have a few orders coming my way! And old coworker contacted awhile back and commissioned me to do a portrait of his dog. Here is the beginning stages of portrait of Marty.

King - finished!

Here is the finished portrait of King! I added a crown detail to his tag just for fun.

Here is King's portrait so far. My client wants it soon so I worked on it over the weekend. The dog's coat is a nice shiny black...which to me looks purple so here is my interpretation of it!

Luna - Done

YAY! The portrait of Luna is finished, shipped and received! And I have heard that the family, including Luna liked the portrait! I can't wait to see pictures of the nursery room with the painting on the wall. Up next: a portrait for a returning customer!

Luna - Almost done!

Just need to add the bandana and it will be finished! This painting will hang in a baby's room. It has been so much fun working on this painting.

Luna - Great Pyrenees

Whew! It's been a while since I last posted on here! Here is a portrait I have been working on. I like how it is turning out. Next step will be to layer on more white to make the Great Pyrenees coat.

Barney - Final

Here is a portrait of Barney again. I finished it awhile ago but never posted the finished result. The painting was a gift and I heard that the person loved the portrait. yay!

Something for Mother's Day

Here is a sign I made for Chappy's bed. The portrait was sculpted using Super Sculpey and then painted with acrylic paint. Chappy is a mix of Japanese Chin and Maltese. Here is a picture of her when she was a puppy.
